Josh Bingtan, founder of Space Bloom Productions, is a professional musician, music producer, DJ, and composer based in Sacramento, CA. With over 25 years of experience, his musical journey began at age 9, when he started formal training in classical piano. Just ten months later, he played his first solo recital at the Naval Museum in his hometown of Vallejo, and has been in love with the craft ever since.
At 15, Josh landed his first professional gig, playing piano for a funeral, interestingly enough. Since then, he has served professionally in many roles: pianist, vocalist, guitarist, DJ, worship leader, producer, engineer, and composer. From his early college days playing in a cover band with friends for tips at a local Thai restaurant, to performing as a singer-songwriter at Filipino festivals across the Bay Area, to countless church services and recording sessions, Josh has built a diverse and unique musical background that continues to shape his taste today.
Today, Josh is a resident DJ at two of Sacramento's premier nightlife destinations, Darling Aviary and The Flamingo House, performing under his stage name, Jei Lune. He also continues to produce music across a range of genres for local artists and organizations.
Josh and his wife, Melissa, live in Sacramento.Together they run Space Bloom Productions alongside Melissa's own craft and baked goods business, By Melissa Anne. Josh works full time in finance at a national investment advisory firm while Melissa works in real estate. They also both serve at Society Church in midtown Sacramento.
